Imagined Growth - Where you have the ability to outgrow even your own imagination.
Setting goals is a common task for coaches. This skill is helpful to instruct clients and guiding them to success. The ability to set goals requires organizational, strategic, visualization and critical thinking skills. Coaches set goals for themselves but also part of coaching is to help clients create goals.
A positive attitude affects productivity so managers can benefit from encouraging positivity in the workplace. In this scenario a coach may teach methods of relaxation, positive visualization and improving your mood at work.
A coach can help create personal goals for each client, which considers each client's skills and job role. Specific goals can lead to greater success because coaches design these goals carefully and they are more attainable and measurable when goals involve fewer people.
In the case of Courtney Ukpabi (Courtney's Online Boutique), she was starting an online store and wanted to learn more about the various technologies and how the technologies were interconnected. We held an introductory call to gather additional details and created a 12-week apprenticeship program centered around what she wanted to learn. During each week of the apprenticeship she learned about and became more comfortable with new concepts. She was also able to ask questions, gain additional insights, and put what she was learning to work for her in business. Hands-on learning with concepts like search engine optimization, website security, SQL, and PHP were just of a few of the concepts she was able to put immediately into practice.
